KABUL, AFGHANISTAN – Celebrated World Milk Day 2021 in Kabul together with the representatives of the Government of Afghanistan, UN, and farmer representatives. Very inspired to hear stories of the farmers, including women, about how the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) funded and FAO-implemented dairy project is helping change the livelihoods of small farmers in Kabul, Parwan, and Maidan Wardak provinces, especially women-headed households with small children, through milk production.
