Working Meeting on Dairy Asia Initiatives Concludes with Media Partners

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia – A working meeting was jointly convened on August 20, 2021, by the Dairy Asia Secretariat, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry of Mongolia, and the “Club of Economic Journalists and Columnists.”

The meeting included representatives from leading national publishing and press organizations that operate in English, including “MNB World” TV, “Montsame” News Agency, “Mongol Messenger,” “UB Post,” “Mongolian Economy” journal, “Financial Inclusion,” “Asia Mining Magazine,” “NTV,” and the “News Channel.”

During the session, the Dairy Asia Secretariat presented its core objectives, strategic vision, and operational functions. The Secretariat also outlined a series of planned events and activities for the coming months. Key announcements included the organization of a “Dairy Asia Webinar: School Milk Program” on September 28, 2021, to mark World School Milk Day. Furthermore, a consultative meeting titled “Dairy Asia Perspective” will be jointly organized on October 7, 2021, by the Dairy Asia Secretariat, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, in observance of the 60th anniversary of Mongolia’s accession to the United Nations.

The working meeting was noted for its informative, open, and effective discussions. Participants concluded that ongoing cooperation is essential and committed to ensuring that Dairy Asia’s activities and events will be effectively communicated to the public.
